Air Share scheme perfect for overseas property

An affordable executive aircraft ownership scheme in the UK will banish the tedious prospect of air travel on commercial airlines. This is great news for those who own overseas properties in Europe.

Private aircraft travel has been the preserve of the super-rich for years but the launch of a low cost fractional ownership programme called Air Share has brought it within reach of many more people who make regular trips to their holiday homes abroad.

Air Share has been developed by aircraft sales and management specialists Atlantic Bridge Aviation (ABA). Managing Director Jonathan Gordon says, "owning your own executive aircraft (or a share in one) that can get you and your family to most places in Europe can be much cheaper and less complicated than you think."

“Private aircraft get VIP service wherever they fly and are able to operate into many more airfields than airliners. At larger airports executive aircraft have dedicated business terminals meaning swift transit through airport formalities. You can relax in your own cabin, choose your schedule and arrive refreshed in a fraction of the overall journey time compared to the airline equivalent,” he added.

A globally trusted name in aircraft sales, ABA has been established for 20 years. The Air Share programme allows newcomers to get a taste for the freedom and luxury of owning their own executive aircraft at a very affordable price. “We’re breaking new ground by offering shares in highly affordable Cabin Class Executive aircraft. We believe there is no more cost effective way to own and operate a share in your own aircraft than through our scheme,” added Jonathan Gordon.

How the Air Share scheme works:

Shares are sold in 1/8th blocks of 12.5%. Each 12.5% tranche costs between £20,000 and £30,000 (depending on the aircraft value) and must be held for five years when it can be sold at fair market value. There is also a guaranteed buy-back at 60% of the original investment. The maximum shareholding is 75%.

Each 12.5% entitles the owner to 40 days use of the aircraft, or similar aircraft in the Air Share programme.

For each 1/8th share owned there is a management fee of £1,000 per month.

Whenever you fly all you pay is direct cost plus 15%, meaning your flights are as cheap as possible.
